Policy & Advocacy
We tell stories that move people — in living rooms, hearing rooms, and everywhere in between. High Mesa partners with advocacy organizations, associations, coalitions, and policy groups to build storytelling systems that shape how support gets built.
The distinction
We understand how support gets built — how a story lands in a House office, what carries in a hearing room, and what earns a second meeting. Our films are built to move the people with the power to act: legislators, donors, and the public that gives a bill its momentum.
Visibility isn't vanity — it's influence. When your issue is underseen, underfunded, or misunderstood, the right story told with enough force can shift the outcome.
The record
$1.3 Billion
in annual federal funding — that's the size of the fight our storytelling is helping carry through Congress right now.
Our films run at the center of national campaigns — embedded with the organizations doing the work, carrying urgent stories into House and Senate offices, and building the kind of public support that gives a bipartisan bill momentum in both chambers. The legislation is still moving. So are we.
A good story drives bipartisan support.
Policy moves when people are moved. We make the films that move them.
Built for the fight
Short-form pieces built for campaigns — with cut-downs that feed social, briefings, and fundraising. Festival submissions handled on our end.

How it worksWe go where the story is
The stories that move policy don't start in Washington — they start in the places policy touches. We've earned trust in communities where cameras rarely go, filmed in terrain most agencies wouldn't attempt, and carried what we found straight to the people deciding the outcome. Respect, precision, and grit.
Much of this work doesn't live on a public website. Films made for congressional offices and political campaigns are governed by client agreements — we screen them on request.
If you're not at the table, you're on the menu.
Your opposition is telling a story. Let's make yours the one that carries.
